Mancunian Nev Cottee releases his new album 'Strange News From The Sun' in April. Produced by Mason Neely (Colorama) the album takes it’s inspiration from the psychedelic pop of Lee Hazlewood and the lush symphonies of Spiritualized all mixed together with Nev’s own unique voice to create something quite special.  Since leaving his first band ‘Proud Mary’, whose debut album ‘The Same Old Blues’ was released on Noel Gallagher’s own ‘Big Brother’ label, Nev has played with Manchester bands ‘Folks’ and ‘The Second Floor’ and presented his much loved ‘Evening Session’ radio show on 96.2 The Revolution and Radio Republic. In 2013 Nev released his debut album ‘Stations’ to critical acclaim.
Beautiful - it deserves to get played like billyo on the radio and work its way up the hit parade…’ James Endeacott
‘A lesson in songwriting’ Noel Gallagher
